Snapdragons are among our most ancient garden plants and, if they were
not so susceptible to rust, would still be among the most popular.
Coming in an enormous range of colors and a variety of sizes, they make
excellent plants for mixed borders and formal beds throughout summer.
The taller cultivars can form a spectacular display along the back of a
herbaceous border. Medium size cultivars are useful for formal or
informal beds, while dwarf cultivars are ideal as edging and carpeting
or for rock gardens.
