From the wild English daisy come several bigger, brighter cultivars, ideal for edging or mixing with other plants in window boxes. White, pink, and red moplike flowers bloom profusely from late spring to midsummer on 4-8 in (10-20 cm) high stems. Loose rosettes of evergreen leaves form a dense carpet on the ground.

Popular species and cultivars
The following cultivars are all developed from Bellis perennis.
'Bright Carpet' has small double red, white, and rose blooms
'Goliath' has large double blooms in shades of red, salmon-pink, pink. and white.
'Kito' bears double flowers with incurved cherry-red petals.
'Pomponette' produces a mass of very small double flowers in reds, pinks, and whites.
